During the the day, everyone is friendly and lovely. I was very happy forMang years. but now it seems like the overnight team is treating me quite strangely. it started with one person but now its spreading. Wich is more than inconvient sine my whole family's medication is there plus thd kosher foods. Its like im gonma have to do all my shoping before , 10pm, so I dont get trrated subhumanly. ( i have disabilities and often get yelled at). Il do my best to avoid overnight self checkout . Getting scholderd oit sll the time just doesent seem nesasary. Thsnks

I normally shop at this Jewel, my husband and I are handicap and I am in a wheelchair with a chronic illness so I typically do a drive up and go order. We had not bought anything for a couple of months so yesterday was a big order to restock the food. None of the meat was on sale so it was actually more expensive than normal (over $500). We got the order and drove home and my husband brought everything in right away. We started putting everything away and noticed a smell coming from the bag with the two family packs of chicken. I assumed it just had some bad chicken juice on the package but when we opened it, the entire house smelled with rancid chicken. We had to immediately throw away two big packs of chicken and then checked the dates of the other meat and there was a ground pork that was dated the day before and another pack of chicken that was dated the same date. We didn’t trust it at this point. I called immediately to talk to a manager but was told the drive up and go didn’t have one and they would leave a note for Courtney to call me in the morning. When I got the call the next morning I was told that they gave me everything “in good order” and I was supposed to have saved

This is the place to go for one stop shopping for all of your kosher needs - all year and especially at the holidays. It can get a bit chaotic with last minute holiday shoppers but they have a good selection of everything you could want from disposable dishes and cookware to meat, fish, veggies, cheese, sweets and treats and condiments - all certified Kosher. Of course, it is also a regular Jewel grocery store as well. There is ample parking. The staff could be a little more knowledgeable, but it's not a deal breaker. Better pricing and selection than Sarah's Tent. There is also a wide selection of Kosher wines.

Poor customer service and no express lane during holiday rush! I’ve been shopping at this Jewel Osco for over 32 years and actually remember when this location was built. I’m a regular customer, which is why this experience was so disappointing. With Passover approaching, the store was extremely busy. Lines were long and customers had carts overflowing, some even had two carts. Despite this, there was no express lane open for customers with a small number of items. I had one item: a bag of onions. Another employee directed me to the customer service desk to purchase it. When I politely asked the employee there, Susan, if I could check out quickly since I only had one item, she responded dismissively with “You ok?” and then told me to “get in line like everyone else.” No attempt to help. No courtesy. Just a rude and unprofessional response. For a store that has served this community for decades, you would expect better customer service, especially during a busy holiday shopping period. Management should ensure express lanes are open and staff treat customers respectfully. Very disappointing, unprofessional experience for a long time customer of 32 years.

As of November, this place is selling rotten expired food! The yogurt and produce I bought was rotten... the arizona canned tea was rotten..I also couldn't find meat for a roast or chicken?? Look at how old the meat is... the fresh stuff was leaking blood all over. CLOSE THIS LOCATION DOWN!
